Four students from Little Elm High School in Texas had been arrested after a walkout protest turned chaotic, in line with the varsity district.

The student-organized protest was associated to an alleged sexual assault incident involving a classmate.

“This morning, students at Little Elm HS had planned a student demonstration inside the campus that caused some students to behave in a way that caused a major disruption,” the Little Elm Independent School District (LEISD) stated in an announcement launched Friday. “Four juvenile students were arrested for assaulting Little Elm Police officers.”

“Officials from Little Elm ISD and Little Elm Police Department worked together to secure the scene to ensure the safety of everyone at the campus,” the assertion added.

The district stated the walkout was organized as “a result of a social media post the day before that contained inaccurate information regarding an incident that happened a month ago.”

City spokesperson Erin Mudie advised Fox News Digital that “four juvenile students were arrested … for assaulting/spitting on officers.”

Viral movies posted on social media present Little Elm police officers pepper-spraying and tasing a scholar inside the varsity, as FOX 2 Dallas-Fort Worth first reported.

What began as a peaceable demonstration took a flip when some students began banging on Muhammad’s home windows and “throwing things.” When students realized the principal was not in his workplace, they marched downstairs to proceed the walkout.

Three officers had been known as to the varsity and tried to dam students from going downstairs, however students had been in a position to push previous them, Kayleigh stated. Once downstairs, issues turned extra chaotic. Police arrested a scholar and pepper-sprayed one other earlier than tasing him.

“They tased, pepper-sprayed and used excessive force on these students,” Kayleigh stated. 

Mudie advised Fox News that the scholar who was tased obtained a medical examination earlier than authorities transported him to a juvenile detention heart.

The highschool resumed a traditional faculty day after the incident, in line with LEISD.
