A 5-year-old boy was fatally shot by his older sibling at a Pennsylvania home Monday evening after the duo and one other little one have been left alone in a bed room with an unsecured firearm, a report mentioned.

The younger sufferer, recognized Tuesday as Connor Wolfe, was shot at about 5:30 p.m. contained in the residence Penn Hills Township, WTAE-TV reported, citing police and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s workplace.

“There was children playing in the back bedroom when one of the children was shot,” Lt. Venerando Costa, of the Allegheny County Police Department, instructed the news station.

Police mentioned it appeared a mother or father legally owned the gun used in the taking pictures.

The case might be handed over to the district legal professional’s workplace, which can determine if any prices might be filed.

“Just praying for the family, hoping that they make it through,” neighbor Alfred Robinson instructed the outlet.
