Disgraced South Carolina legal professional Alex Murdaugh was arrested in Florida Thursday in connection to insurance settlements obtained after the 2018 mysterious dying of his housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield.
Upon his launch from a drug rehabilitation facility in Orlando, Murdaugh was taken into custody by brokers with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He is charged with two felony counts of acquiring property by false pretenses.

The costs stem from a SLED investigation into misappropriated settlement funds within the dying of Gloria Satterfield. Murdaugh has been taken to Orange County Corrections, the place he will likely be held till he receives an extradition listening to. The case will likely be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
