ASEAN to meet to discuss possible exclusion of Myanmar leader from summit – sources

Oct 14 (Reuters) – Foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will meet on Friday to discuss an upcoming regional leaders’ summit, throughout which the possible exclusion of Myanmar junta chief Min Aung Hlaing will likely be mentioned, in accordance to sources with information of the assembly.

The assembly will likely be held nearly on Friday and hosted by ASEAN chair Brunei, mentioned the sources based mostly in ASEAN member nations, which included a diplomat and a authorities official.
