China PC maker Lenovo withdraws application for $1.6 bln Shanghai listing


Oct 8 (Reuters) – China’s Lenovo Group Co(0992.HK), the world’s greatest maker of private computer systems (PCs),has withdrawn its application for a ten billion yuan ($1.55 billion) share listing in Shanghai, a Shanghai Stock Exchange submitting confirmed on Friday.

The firm solely had its application for a share sale accepted by Shanghai’s STAR Market on the finish of final month.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange mentioned Lenovo and its sponsor, funding financial institution China International Capital Corp, <3908.HK>, had requested to withdraw the application paperwork on Friday however didn’t give a cause for the transfer.
