“I mean, the vaccines themselves clearly are still highly effective, but you want to make sure the durability of that protection is longer, and that’s the reason why you get boosted, because we know no vaccine lasts forever,” Fauci added to CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.”

But Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, left the door open to vaccine tips probably altering.

“We’re going to be doing the best we can to keep the American public optimally protected. If that means that that’s going to be a boost that absolutely everyone will have to have, then so be it, we’ll do it that way,” Fauci stated.

“We’re 11 months into the vaccination program. In my view, if you were vaccinated more than six months ago, you’re not fully vaccinated,” Lamont stated final week, NBC Connecticut reported.
