Laura Ingraham highlighted Tuesday a CNN “point-counterpoint” debate on critical race theory, and variety, fairness and inclusion in public faculties. Ingraham centered her Angle monologue on a CNN “New Day” phase about whether or not mother and father ought to have a say in what their kids are taught in faculties.

“Every once in a while, an on-air exchange slips through the cracks on one of the other cable networks that is worth watching.  Such was the case this morning on CNN of all places,” mentioned Ingraham.

Virginia guardian and writer Asra Nomani argued faculties are “radicalizing” college students with critical race theory, typically described as Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) applications.

“Schools should be teaching reading, writing arithmetic,” she defined on CNN. The Vice President of Parents Defending Education introduced examples of books used to show younger kids which have generated concern from mother and father. Nomani outlined a direct correlation in the concepts offered in these sources result in “dangerous principles.”

“Enter the defender of critical race theory; a guy who was billed simply as a concerned parent, but who actually works the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion racket in Austin, Texas,” Ingraham famous of the CNN phase, referring to Kazique Prince.

“But money can’t buy you logic. Instead of refuting Ms. Nomani’s evidence proving the poisonous effects of CRT curricula, he merely pulled a Terry McAuliffe saying parents should generally stop butting in – leave education to the experts, presumably experts like him.”

Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe has argued by way of his marketing campaign that critical race theory is “made up.”

Earlier in the week, the previous Democratic governor doubled down on claims that critical race theory curriculum doesn’t exist, and isn’t taught in public faculties. In a separate CNN phase this week, Axios editor Margaret Talev claimed on “Inside Politics” that critical race theory is “not actually a thing.”

“That Ms. Nomani is highly educated and a minority herself doesn’t matter,” mentioned Ingraham, including that guilt and disgrace” are being marketed to schools, corporations, entertainers, sports figures and even some churches.

She said some corporations and schools are “hiring individuals not on advantage however in response to the newest woke guidelines, and of course by shunning anybody who refuses to mouth their platitudes or who questions their targets. DEI propaganda, like CCP propaganda, mustn’t ever be questioned by the unenlightened plenty.”

The Fox News host argued teaching DEI in school systems tells kids to hate America from within. She warned of a country that is led by President Biden treating these ideas as “gospel.”

“Think of the tens of tens of millions of immigrants who’ve develop into small enterprise homeowners and profitable professionals; and who did so with out counting on authorities handouts, or DEI mandates to clear the trail for them,” Ingraham said.

“Maybe it’s time for us to focus extra on parenting and fewer on complaining. More on showcasing expertise, and fewer obsessing on race or ethnicity.”
