Maduro envoy Alex Saab extradited to U.S. – Cape Verde radio

PRAIA, Oct 16 (Reuters) – Alex Saab, a businessman needed by U.S. authorities on fees of laundering cash on behalf of Venezuela’s authorities, has been extradited to the United States, Cape Verde nationwide radio reported on Saturday.

Saab, an envoy of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, was detained in Cape Verde in June 2020 when his airplane stopped there to refuel.
