Nestle revamps geographic construction, makes new board appointments


ZURICH, Oct 13 (Reuters) – Nestle (NESN.S) is overhauling its geographic construction, the world’s largest meals firm mentioned on Wednesday, creating new zones for North America and for Greater China.

The maker of Nescafe instantaneous espresso and KitKat chocolate bars additionally mentioned it was altering its govt board to align with the new construction, which takes impact from Jan. 1 2022.

Company veteran Chris Johnson, the present head of Nestle’s Asia, Oceania and sub-Saharan Africa zone, will retire from the Swiss firm’s govt board and get replaced by Remy Ejel, present head of Nestle’s Middle East and North Africa enterprise.

Steve Presley, present Chairman and CEO Nestlé USA, will be part of the Executive Board as CEO Zone North America. David Zhang, present CEO of Totole, Nestle’s meals seasoning enterprise, and Business Executive Officer for Food in Greater China, will even be part of the chief board as the pinnacle of the Greater China enterprise, Nestle mentioned.
