A pregnant Florida lady is lifeless after allegedly initiating a road rage incident with a motorcyclist in Orange City on Saturday, police say.

Sara Nicole Morales, 35, hit Andrew Derr’s bike deliberately along with her blue Kia alongside the 1400 block of N. Volusia Ave round 5 p.m., in line with investigators. Derr was not injured in the minor accident, and he and witnesses adopted Morales whereas she drove away from the scene. 

The motorcyclist and witnesses contacted legislation enforcement whereas following her to her dwelling and likewise tried to get her to cease, however she refused.

When Morales reached dwelling, she went inside and reportedly retrieved a firearm. She confronted Derr and the witnesses in the road whereas they have been on the cellphone with 911, in line with the police.

Derr, who has a legitimate Florida hid weapons allow, drew his firearm and fired a number of rounds, hanging Morales.

Orange City Fire Rescue responded to offer medical care on the scene earlier than Morales was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center, the place she died, FOX 35 Orlando reported. 

Morales’ handgun was recovered on the scene by officers. She was reportedly 4 to 5 months pregnant and leaves behind an 11-year-old daughter and a fiancé. She was a librarian on the Pierson Public Library.

Derr remained on scene and has been cooperating with legislation enforcement.
