TIM’s CEO ready to step aside to facilitate assessment of KKR’s bid – ANSA

MILAN, Nov 25 (Reuters) – Telecom Italia (TLIT.MI) Chief Executive Luigi Gubitosi mentioned on Thursday he was ready to step aside so as to enable the group’s board to make a smoother assessment of KKR’s takeover proposal, ANSA news company reported.

In a letter to the board members, Gubitosi added that the board mustn’t delay the choice on KKR’s bid because it may very well be interpreted as defending pursuits of sure shareholders, Ansa reported.

TIM’s prime investor Vivendi was not instantly accessible for remark.
