Republican Sean Parnell on Monday suspended his 2022 campaign for the open Senate seat in the essential battleground state of Pennsylvania.

The transfer by Parnell, who loved the backing of former President Donald Trump, got here a few hours after he misplaced a bitter struggle for custody of his three kids to his estranged spouse, who in courtroom testimony had accused Parnell of abuse. 

During her testimony in the trial, Parnell’s estranged spouse Laurie Snell accused him of bodily and verbally abusing her and hitting two of their three kids. Parnell vehemently denied the accusations.
