DAWN French has ditched her trademark brown bob for a dramatic new do.
The 63-year-old appeared virtually unrecognisable as she shared an image of her new look and revealed she had gone for such a drastic lower to eliminate all her outdated dyed hair.
She informed her Instagram followers: “Cutting off all the old colour…gradually getting there with the grey… starting short… aiming at the ol bob in full grey glory…. It’s a process… I’m not great at patience…”
She was inundated with messages of help from her followers, with one writing: “It’s great. I embraced my lovely silver hair during the pandemic. Best thing I ever did.”
Another added: “You’re going to look great! I truly believe it! 👏.”
Earlier this yr Dawn revealed she was embracing her grey hair – and had a shock undercut hair lower.
The Vicar Of Dibley actress mentioned on the time: “Going lighter little by little to fortunately welcome the grey… with an undercut shock..!
“Hello there woman in her 60s….”
Dawn’s new look comes after the BBC have been slammed for warning episodes of The Vicar Of Dibley could also be offensive.
Viewers are informed on iPlayer that the basic comedy, starring Dawn as vicar Geraldine Granger, “contains discriminatory language”.
Some of the extra edgy language within the present, which began in 1994, comes from Owen Newitt — performed by the late Roger Lloyd-Pack.
