UK says considering more safety measures for lawmakers after attack

LONDON, Oct 17 (Reuters) – The British authorities are considering more safety measures for parliamentarians after a lawmaker was stabbed to dying, inside minister Priti Patel informed Sky News on Sunday.

Conservative David Amess, 69, was knifed repeatedly within the attack at about noon on Friday in Leigh-on-Sea, east of London, throughout a gathering with constituents in a church.
